Max Lanthier

I am a video editor with eight years of experience in digital video production, graphic design, and online VOD services.

My current and former positions have provided me with strong work ethics in a fast-pace, deadline-driven environment. I often work on multiple assignments at once and can balance the shifting priorities of different projects. I have experienced many different aspects of the video editing world, and can utilize various software programs, both on Mac and PC platforms, such as Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, After Effects, and Photoshop. I enjoy the creative aspect of my work and being able to apply that to a client’s vision.

My previous duties have included encoding different stereo and 5.1 audio and HD and SD video formats for online, mobile, theatrical, and broadcast use as well as quality control checking of physical and file based formats for aspect ratios, frame rate, and color space standards. I have also worked with DCP files, live streams, FTP uploading services, and am very conscious of licensing requirements and adhering to industry standards. Additionally, I have a strong working knowledge of digital file platforms with uploading and downloading content; metadata entry on Amazon Prime, Google Play, and iTunes; and file encoding to client specs.
